Cool Route

The Cool Route stretches from Cork up the west coast of Ireland to Northern Ireland and Western Scotland, then on to the Faroe Islands and Norway.

Documented as being sailed by Celtic saints in the 7th century and Viking raiders in the 8th century, this often overlooked area of Northern Europe has plenty to offer for superyachts looking to explore more off the beaten track locations.

The Cool Route, a project co-financed by the Interreg Northern Periphery and Arctic Programme is a project whose objectives was to strengthen the market reach and customer base for SME’s in remote communities by developing an exclusive product package to attract high end customers for a very wide range of tourism, activity holidays, cultural and heritage attractions, local produce, crafts, restaurants and marine services.
